Our here in the country, when you pass someone, you wave to them. In the car, walking, or on the four-wheeler, everyone shares a wave. It could be your neighbor, or someone you've never met and are unlikely to see again. Out here, we're all friends.
From ages 2 to 60, we all know how to get together and have a good time: cornhole, fireworks displays, sidewalk chalk, gardening, kite flying. Our friends remind us to relax, keep us grounded, and provide a support system for us. We all pitch in when help is needed or a big meal needs to be cooked (and eaten).
Our small community is full of neighbors, co-workers, and friends who support us and our decision to adopt. Whether its a new little trick-or-treater visiting, another playmate at company family-day functions, or the cry of a baby during church, all of our friends are excited to welcome a new child into their circle.

OK, technically Toni doesn't know Peyton. She's more of a fan than a friend... |
